What is the cost of shipping?
We are delighted to inform you that we provide free shipping and fully insurance for all orders over $1000. It is important to note that while we cover the shipping and insurance costs, any charges or fees imposed by customs authorities are the sole responsibility of the customer.
How can I track my order?
Once you place an order, you will receive an automated email containing your shipping details and tracking number. This email will also include a weblink to your designated shipping provider. We work with four main carriers - Australia Post, DHL eCommerce,FedEx and SF Express, depending on your location and order total. Click here to track your order.
How long will it take for delivery?
While we cannot guarantee specific delivery times, you can expect to receive your order within the following estimated timeframes:Australia – Approximately two (2) to three (3) business days.United States – Approximately ten (10) to fifteen (15) days (via DHL postal service) and five (5) to seven (7) days (via FedEx Economy service).
Rest of the world – Up to 14 days (via DHL postal service) and five (5) to seven (7) days (via FedEx Economy service).
Please note that there may be instances where shipping could take longer, especially during peak seasons such as Christmas. If your items have not arrived within the expected timeframes, kindly email us with your full name and order number for us to investigate on your behalf.
Additionally, please ensure that you provide us with the correct delivery address to avoid any delays in receiving your order.
What if my order is delayed or damaged?
Don't worry, we are here to assist you at every step of your order journey. If your parcel encounters a delay during transit, we will contact the shipping provider on your behalf. Simply reach out to us via our Contact Us page, our team member will swiftly address any issues that may arise.In the unfortunate event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. Remember to retain all packaging materials and take photos of the damage. You can share your concerns with us via email at sale@opalmermaids.com, and we will promptly provide you with our Returns Procedure and a resolution. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
Is my opal insured during transit?
Absolutely! Your opal is expertly packaged and shipped by our team to ensure its safety. We utilize secure packaging such as padded bags or boxes for all orders. Each parcel is assigned a tracking number and insured for its full value.Please note that this does not cover theft from your letterbox once the parcel has been delivered. It is important to ensure that your parcel is being delivered to a secure location. Once the item is marked as delivered, there is no insurance coverage on your parcel.
